Right of Withdrawal

1. Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the date of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform me by means of a clear statement (e.g. an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the contact details below:

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

2. Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, I shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay, and no later than fourteen days from the day on which I am notified of your decision to withdraw. I will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

3. Early expiration of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal expires for contracts on the supply of digital content not on a tangible medium if the trader has begun performance of the contract after the consumer has

(Section 356(5) of the German Civil Code, BGB).

For CommitProof this means: When you pay for a proof via credit card (Stripe), you expressly consent via the checkbox that the service is performed immediately. Your right of withdrawal therefore expires once the blockchain transaction is initiated.

4. Technical irreversibility

Blockchain transactions are technically irreversible. A transaction written to the Cardano blockchain cannot be undone by me or any third party.

If a blockchain transaction fails after a successful payment (e.g. due to a network error), the payment is automatically refunded via Stripe. In that case, no contract is formed.

5. Payment via Cardano wallet

Direct payments with ada via a Cardano wallet do not constitute a distance contract within the meaning of Section 312c of the German Civil Code (BGB). The transaction is independently signed by the user through their wallet and submitted to the Cardano network. No right of withdrawal applies in this case.
